Sia Fern was born in Bukit Mertajam, Penang and currently base in Singapore. She began her art pursuits at the age of 8 and started to join Huayang Academy of Art from 2011.After graduating from UTM with an Architecture degree, she decided to specialize in oil painting. She learnt her art from Hung Yang Academy of Art in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. Her works usually display Mother Nature beauties and had been in Penang Art Gallery exhibition since 2012. Besides paintings, she has keen interest in architecture and currently working DPA Pte Ltd with extensive experience in mix developement and residential project.

Working with oil on canvas, Sia Fern paint in a realistic style and uses subjects such as human, animals , flora and fauna, as well as vibrancy of colour and composition.
